Who we are

Kumeyaay Trails Wrestling Club (KTWC) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit proudly serving youth in San Diego—America’s Finest City. We provide boys and girls ages K-12 with the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive through the sport of wrestling. We also offer adult classes.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to build confident, resilient, and skilled athletes in a positive and supportive environment.

What We Stand For

At KTWC, we believe in effort over outcome, passion over pressure, and development over quick wins. Guided by the Long-Term Athletic Development (LTAD) model, our practices are rooted in research-backed training designed to help young athletes reach their full potential—both on the mat and in life.

Our Name & Symbol

Our name, Kumeyaay Trails, pays tribute to the original stewards of this land. Our logo—the Wildcat (mountain lion)—embodies the grit, strength, and spirit we cultivate in every athlete.

More Than a Club

Joining the KTWC Wildcats means becoming part of a community of athletes, families, and coaches dedicated to blazing new trails in youth wrestling. Together, we build character, sharpen skills, and fuel a lifelong love of the sport.

Define Yourself. True Grit Lives Here.
